Principle for Selecting Cable Chain
Inner Height: Measure the thickest piece of the internally installed cable, oil pipe, gas pipe, or water pipe. Use this measurement as a reference height, adding at least 10% of the space height for the inner height (HI). If overlapping occurs, use the overlapped height as the actual height.
Inner Width: Add up the outside diameters of the thicker cables, oil pipes, gas pipes, or water pipes to determine the reference inner width. Ensure at least 10% of the space is left as a margin.
Bend Radius: Measure the largest bend radius of a cable, oil pipe, gas pipe, or water pipe. Use this measurement as a reference, adding 10% of the space as a margin.
Instruction Principles for Internally Laid Cable, Oil Pipe, Water Pipe, or Gas Pipe
Reserve 15% of the space as a margin to allow internally laid cables and oil pipes to move freely, ensuring no stress is placed on the drag chains in the direction of the radius.
For cables with significantly different diameters, they should be laid separately with balanced weight distribution. If necessary, spacers can be used to separate them.
In high-speed or high-frequency operations, horizontally laid cables should be separated and not overlapped. If there are too many cables, gas pipes, and oil pipes laid together, it is recommended to use spacers.
Construction of the Cable Chain
The chain resembles a tank's crawler, consisting of several joints that can rotate freely.
Chains in the same series share inner height, outer height, and pitch, but the inner width and bend radius (R) can be specified differently.
Each chain joint consists of a left-right chain plate and an up-down cover. These joints can be opened easily for assembly and dismantling without threading. Cables, oil pipes, and gas pipes can be inserted after the cover plate is opened.
Spacers are available for use, allowing the interior of the chain to be divided into sections as required.
