Principle for Selecting Cable Chain
Inner Height: Use the thickness of the largest internal cable, oil pipe, gas pipe, or water pipe as a reference height and add at least 10% of space height as the inner height (HI). If overlapping occurs, use the overlapped height as the actual height.
Inner Width: Sum the outside diameters of the thickest cables, oil pipe, gas pipe, or water pipe as a reference for inner width, leaving at least 10% of the space as a margin.
Radius of Bend: Use the largest radius of the bend of a cable, oil pipe, gas pipe, or water pipe as a reference value and allow a 10% space margin.
Instruction Principles for Internally Laid Cable, Oil Pipe, Water Pipe, or Gas Pipe
Reserve 15% of the space as a margin to ensure that the internally laid cables and oil pipes move freely, without any stress on the drag chains in the radial direction.
Cables of significantly different diameters should be laid separately with balanced weight distribution. Spacers can be used if necessary to separate them.
For high-speed or high-frequency operations, horizontally laid cables should be separated, avoiding overlap. If numerous cables, gas pipes, and oil pipes are laid together, it is recommended to use spacers.
Construction of the Cable Chain
The chain resembles a tank's crawler, composed of multiple joints that can freely rotate.
Chains in the same series share the same inner height, outer height, and pitch, but the inner width and bend radius (R) can be customized according to specific needs.
Each unit chain joint consists of a left-right chain plate and an up-down cover. These joints can be easily opened for assembly and dismantling without threading. Cables, oil pipes, and gas pipes can be placed into the drag chain after opening the cover plate.
Spacers can be utilized to divide the internal space of the chain into sections as required.
