When selecting a cable chain, consider the following principles:

• Inner Height: Take the height of the thickest internally installed cable, oil pipe, gas pipe, or water pipe as the reference height, adding at least 10% of the space height as the inner height (HI).


• Inner Width: Calculate the sum of the outside diameters of the thicker cables, oil pipes, gas pipes, or water pipes as the reference for the inner width, leaving at least a 10% margin.


• Radius of a Bend: Use the largest radius of a bend of a cable, oil pipe, gas pipe, or water pipe as a reference value, leaving a 10% margin.

For internally laid cables, oil pipes, water pipes, or gas pipes, reserve 15% of the space as a margin to allow for free movement and prevent stress on the drag chains. Ensure cables of different diameters are laid separately and balanced evenly. Use spacers if needed.

When operating at high speed or frequency, horizontally laid cables should not overlap. Consider using spacers when laying multiple cables, gas pipes, and oil pipes together.

The construction of the cable chain resembles a tank's crawler, with joints that can freely rotate. Each unit chain joint consists of left-right chain plates and up-down covers, allowing for easy assembly and disassembly without threading. Spacers can divide the space inside the chain as needed.
