Principle for Selecting Cable Chain
Inner Height: Use the thickest cable, oil pipe, gas pipe, or water pipe installed internally as the reference height. Add at least 10% of space height to determine the inner height (HI). If overlapping occurs, use the combined height as the actual height.
Inner Width: Sum the outer diameters of the thicker cables, oil pipes, gas pipes, or water pipes to determine the inner width. Ensure at least a 10% margin for space.
Radius of a Bend: Use the largest bending radius of a cable, oil pipe, gas pipe, or water pipe as a reference value. Include a 10% margin for space.
Instruction Principles for Internally Laid Cable, Oil Pipe, Water Pipe, or Gas Pipe
Reserve 15% of the space to ensure internally laid cables and oil pipes can move freely without exerting stress on the drag chains in the radial direction.
Cables of significantly different diameters should be laid separately with evenly distributed weight. Use spacers if necessary to separate them.
For high-speed or high-frequency operations, horizontally laid cables should be partitioned and not overlap. If there are too many cables, gas pipes, or oil pipes, use spacers for separation.
Construction of the Cable Chain
The chain resembles a tank's crawler, composed of numerous joints. Each joint can rotate freely, ensuring flexibility.
Chains of the same series share the same inner height, outer height, and pitch, but the inner width and bend radius (R) can be customized.
Each unit chain joint consists of a left-right chain plate and an up-down cover. The joints can be opened for easy assembly and dismantling without threading. The cables, oil pipes, and gas pipes can be positioned in the drag chain after opening the cover plate.
Spacers are available to divide the space inside the chain into sections as required.
