Principles for Selecting Cable Chain

When selecting a cable chain, consider the following:

• Inner Height: Take the height of the thickest internally installed cable, oil pipe, gas pipe, or water pipe as the reference height, adding at least 10% of the space height as the inner height (HI).


• Inner Width: Calculate the sum of the outside diameters of the thicker cables, oil pipes, gas pipes, or water pipes as the reference for the inner width, leaving a 10% margin of space.


• Radius of a Bend: Use the largest radius of a bend of a cable, oil pipe, gas pipe, or water pipe as a reference value, leaving a 10% margin of space.

Instruction Principles for Internally Laid Cables, Oil Pipes, Water Pipes, or Gas Pipes

Ensure 15% of the space is reserved as a margin for internally laid cables and oil pipes to move freely without stressing the drag chains. Separate cables of different diameters and balance weight evenly. Use spacers if necessary.

Construction of the Cable Chain

The chain resembles a tank's crawler with freely turning joints. Each unit chain joint consists of left-right chain plates and up-down covers for easy assembly and dismantling. Spacers are available to divide the space inside the chain as needed.
