Reserve 15% of the space as a margin so that internally laid cables and oil pipes can move freely, preventing any stress on the drag chains in the direction of the radius.
For cables of considerably different diameters, lay them separately and balance the weight evenly. Spacers can be used if necessary.
In high-speed or high-frequency operations, lay the horizontally running cables separately and avoid overlapping. If too many cables, gas pipes, and oil pipes are laid together, it is recommended to use spacers.
Construction of the Cable Chain
The chain resembles the crawler of a tank, consisting of a specific number of joints. These joints can turn freely.
Chains of the same series share the same inner height, outer height, and pitch, but the inner width and bend radius (R) can be customized based on different specifications.
Each unit chain joint consists of a left-right chain plate and an up-down cover. The joints can be easily opened for assembly and dismantling without threading. Cables, oil pipes, and gas pipes can be inserted into the drag chain after opening the cover plate.
Spacers are available to divide the space inside the chain into sections based on requirements.
