Steel Cable Carriers
Steel Cable Carriers from Hebei Ruiao Machine Tool Accessories Producing Co., Ltd. are heavy-duty stainless steel cable chains designed to guide, contain, and protect electrical cables, oil pipes, and hoses during machine movement. These cable carriers are ideal for dynamic applications between fixed and moving parts of the machine, reducing wear on cables and tubes, preventing cable entanglement, and improving machine operation and appearance.
Inner height: Take the tallest internally installed cable, oil pipe, gas pipe, or water pipe as the reference height, adding at least 10% of the space height as the inner height (HI). If overlapping, use the overlapped height as the actual height.
Inner width: Sum up the outside diameter of the thickest cables, oil pipes, gas pipes, or water pipes as the reference for inner width, leaving a 10% space margin.
Radius of a bend: Use the largest radius of a bend of a cable, oil pipe, gas pipe, or water pipe as a reference value, with a 10% space margin.
Reserve 15% of the space as a margin for internally laid cables and oil pipes to move freely without stressing the drag chains. Different diameter cables should be laid separately and balanced evenly. Spacers can be used for separation if needed.
For high-speed or high-frequency operations, horizontally laid cables should be separated and not overlapped. If many cables, gas pipes, and oil pipes are laid together, use spacers.
The chain resembles a tank crawler with freely turning joints. Each unit chain joint consists of left-right chain plates and up-down covers, allowing easy assembly and dismantling without threading. Cables, oil pipes, and gas pipes can be placed inside the drag chain after opening the cover plate.
Spacers are available to divide the chain's interior into sections as needed.
