Principle for Selecting Cable Chain
Inner Height: Consider the thickest internally installed cable, oil pipe, gas pipe, or water pipe as the reference height. Add at least 10% of the space height to determine the inner height (HI). If overlapping occurs, use the cumulative height as the actual height.
Inner Width: Sum the outer diameters of the thickest cables, oil pipe, gas pipe, or water pipe as the reference width. Ensure at least a 10% margin for additional space.
Radius of Bend: Use the largest bend radius of any cable, oil pipe, gas pipe, or water pipe as the reference value, and incorporate a 10% margin for space.
Instruction Principles for Internally Laid Cable, Oil Pipe, Water Pipe, or Gas Pipe
Reserve at least 15% of the space to allow internally laid cables and oil pipes to move freely, preventing any stress on the drag chains in the radial direction.
For cables with significantly varying diameters, ensure they are laid separately to balance the weight evenly. If necessary, use spacers to segregate them.
In high-speed or high-frequency operations, horizontally laid cables should be separated and not overlapped. If there are numerous cables, gas pipes, and oil pipes, spacers are recommended for organization.
Construction of the Cable Chain
The chain's appearance resembles a tank's crawler, composed of numerous joints that can rotate freely, providing robust flexibility.
Chains within the same series share identical inner height, outer height, and pitch, but can be customized in inner width and bend radius (R) to meet various specifications.
Each unit chain joint comprises a left-right chain plate and an up-down cover, which can be opened for easy assembly and dismantling without threading. Cables, oil pipes, and gas pipes can be effortlessly inserted into the drag chain after removing the cover plate.
Spacers can be utilized to divide the internal space of the chain into compartments according to specific requirements.
