These cable carriers are ideal for dynamic applications between fixed and moving parts of the machine, reducing wear on cables and tubes, preventing entanglement, and improving machine operation and appearance.
When selecting a cable chain, it is essential to consider the inner height, inner width, and radius of a bend based on the size of the cables, oil pipes, gas pipes, or water pipes being used. The inner height should be at least 10% higher than the tallest component, while the inner width should accommodate the sum of the outside diameters with a 10% margin. The radius of a bend should be the largest among the components with a 10% margin.
For internally laid cables and pipes, a 15% margin should be reserved to allow for free movement and prevent stress on the drag chains. Different diameter cables should be laid separately and balanced evenly. High-speed operations require cables to be laid apart without overlapping, and spacers can be used for separation if needed.
The construction of the cable chain resembles a tank's crawler, with joints that can freely rotate. Each unit chain joint consists of left-right chain plates and up-down covers for easy assembly and disassembly. Spacers are available to divide the space inside the chain as needed.
