Principle for Selecting Cable Chain
Inner Height: Use the thickest piece of the internally installed cable, oil pipe, gas pipe, or water pipe as the reference height, then add at least 10% of the space height as the inner height (HI). If overlapping occurs, the overlapped height serves as the actual height.
Inner Width: Sum the outside diameters of the thicker cables, oil pipe, gas pipe, or water pipe as the reference for the inner width, ensuring at least 10% space as a margin.
Radius of Bend: Take the largest bend radius of a cable, oil pipe, gas pipe, or water pipe as the reference value, leaving an additional 10% of space as a margin.
Instruction Principles for Internally Laid Cable, Oil Pipe, Water Pipe, or Gas Pipe
A 15% margin of space should be reserved to ensure that the internally laid cables and oil pipes can move freely without causing stress on the drag chains in the radius direction.
Cables with significantly different diameters should be laid separately, with balanced weight distribution. Use spacers if necessary to separate them.
For high-speed or high-frequency operations, horizontally laid cables should be partitioned and not overlapped. If numerous cables, gas pipes, and oil pipes are laid together, the use of spacers is recommended.
Construction of the Cable Chain
The chain resembles a tank's crawler, consisting of multiple joints that can freely rotate.
Chains of the same series maintain uniform inner height, outer height, and pitch, but the inner width and bend radius (R) can be customized to different specifications.
Each chain joint consists of a left-right chain plate and an up-down cover. These joints can be opened for easy assembly and disassembly without threading, allowing cables, oil pipes, and gas pipes to be installed after the cover plate is opened.
Spacers are available to divide the space inside the chain into sections as needed.
