Principles for Selecting Cable Chain:

 

• Inner Height: Take the thickest internally installed cable, oil pipe, gas pipe, or water pipe as the reference height plus at least 10% of the space height as the inner height (HI). If overlapping, use the overlapped height as the actual height.


• Inner Width: Calculate the sum of the outside diameters of the thicker cables, oil pipes, gas pipes, or water pipes as the reference for the inner width, leaving at least 10% of the space as a margin.


• Radius of a Bend: Use the largest radius of a bend of a cable, oil pipe, gas pipe, or water pipe as a reference value, leaving 10% of the space as a margin.


 

 

Instruction Principles for Internally Laid Cable, Oil Pipe, Water Pipe, or Gas Pipe:

 

• Reserve 15% of the space as a margin for internally laid cables and oil pipes to move freely without stressing the drag chains.


• Separate cables with significantly different diameters and balance weight evenly. Use spacers if necessary to separate them.


• For high-speed or high-frequency operations, horizontally laid cables should not overlap. Use spacers if many cables, gas pipes, and oil pipes are laid together.


 

 

Construction of the Cable Chain:

 

• The chain resembles a tank crawler with a certain number of joints that can freely rotate.


• Each unit chain joint consists of a left-right chain plate and an up-down cover, allowing easy assembly and dismantling without threading.


• Spacers are available to divide the space inside the chain as needed.
