These cable carriers are ideal for dynamic applications between fixed and moving parts of the machine, reducing wear on cables and tubes, preventing cable entanglement, and improving machine operation and appearance.

When selecting a cable chain, consider the following principles:

• Inner Height: Take the height of the thickest internally installed cable, oil pipe, gas pipe, or water pipe as the reference height. Add at least 10% of the space height as the inner height (HI). If overlapping, use the overlapped height as the actual height.



• Inner Width: Use the sum of the outside diameters of the thicker cables, oil pipes, gas pipes, or water pipes as the reference for the inner width. Leave at least 10% of the space as a margin.



• Radius of a Bend: Use the largest radius of a bend of a cable, oil pipe, gas pipe, or water pipe as a reference value. Leave 10% of the space as a margin.

For internally laid cables, oil pipes, water pipes, or gas pipes, reserve 15% of the space as a margin to allow for free movement without stressing the drag chains. Ensure cables of different diameters are laid separately and balanced evenly. Use spacers if necessary to separate them.

When operating at high speed or frequency, horizontally laid cables should not overlap. If many cables, gas pipes, and oil pipes are laid together, use spacers for separation.

The construction of the cable chain resembles the crawler of a tank, with joints that can freely turn. Each unit chain joint consists of left-right chain plates and up-down covers, allowing for easy assembly and disassembly without threading. Cables, oil pipes, and gas pipes can be placed inside the drag chain after opening the cover plate. Spacers are available to divide the space inside the chain as needed.
