Reserve 15% of the space within the drag chain to allow free movement of cables and oil pipes. This ensures that no stress is exerted on the drag chains in the radial direction.
For cables with significantly different diameters, lay them separately to balance the weight evenly. Use spacers if necessary to maintain separation.
When operating at high speeds or frequencies, horizontally laid cables should be separated and not overlapped. If too many cables, gas pipes, and oil pipes are laid together, spacers are recommended to manage space efficiently.
Construction of the Cable Chain
The chain resembles a tank's crawler and consists of multiple joints. Each joint can rotate freely, providing flexibility and adaptability.
Chains of the same series share inner height, outer height, and pitch. However, the inner width and bend radius (R) can be customized according to different specifications.
Each unit chain joint comprises a left and right chain plate and an up-down cover. These joints can be easily opened for assembly and dismantling without the need for threading. Cables, oil pipes, and gas pipes can be inserted once the cover plate is opened.
Spacers are available to divide the internal chain space into sections based on specific requirements, ensuring organized and efficient space utilization.
