When selecting a cable chain, consider the following principles:

• Inner Height: Take the height of the thickest internally installed cable, oil pipe, gas pipe, or water pipe as the reference height, adding at least 10% of the space height as the inner height (HI).


• Inner Width: Sum up the outside diameters of the thicker cables, oil pipes, gas pipes, or water pipes as the reference for the inner width, leaving at least 10% of the space as a margin.


• Radius of a Bend: Use the largest radius of a bend of a cable, oil pipe, gas pipe, or water pipe as a reference value, leaving 10% of the space as a margin.

For internally laid cables, oil pipes, water pipes, or gas pipes, reserve 15% of the space as a margin to allow for free movement without stressing the drag chains. Different diameter cables should be laid separately and balanced evenly. Spacers can be used to separate them if needed.

When operating at high speed or frequency, horizontally laid cables should not overlap. If many cables, gas pipes, and oil pipes are laid together, use spacers for separation.

The construction of the cable chain resembles a tank's crawler, with a certain number of joints that can freely turn. Each unit chain joint consists of left-right chain plates and up-down covers, allowing for easy assembly and disassembly without threading. Cables, oil pipes, and gas pipes can be placed into the drag chain after opening the cover plate. Spacers are available to divide the space inside the chain as needed.
