Product Description: Cable Chain

The cable chain is designed with the following principles in mind:

• Inner Height: Determined by the thickest internally installed cable, oil pipe, gas pipe, or water pipe plus 10% of the space height.


• Inner Width: Calculated based on the sum of the outside diameter of the thicker cables with a 10% margin.


• Bend Radius: Based on the largest radius of a bend of a cable, oil pipe, gas pipe, or water pipe with a 10% margin.

When laying cables, oil pipes, water pipes, or gas pipes internally, it is important to reserve 15% of the space as a margin for free movement and to avoid stress on the drag chains.

The construction of the cable chain resembles the crawler of a tank, with joints that can be freely turned round. Each unit chain joint consists of left-right chain plates and up-down covers for easy assembly and dismantling. Spacers are available to divide the space inside the chain as needed.

For high-speed or high-frequency operations, horizontally laid cables should be separated and not overlapped. Spacers can be used when multiple cables, gas pipes, and oil pipes are laid together.
