These cable carriers are ideal for dynamic applications between fixed and moving parts of the machine, reducing wear on cables and tubes, preventing entanglement, and improving machine operation and appearance.

When selecting a cable chain, it is essential to consider the following principles:

• Inner Height: Take the tallest internally installed cable, oil pipe, gas pipe, or water pipe as the reference height, adding at least 10% of the space height as the inner height HI. If overlapping, use the overlapped height as the actual height.


• Inner Width: Calculate the sum of the outside diameters of the thicker cables, oil pipes, gas pipes, or water pipes as the reference for the inner width, leaving a 10% space margin.


• Radius of a Bend: Use the largest radius of a bend of a cable, oil pipe, gas pipe, or water pipe as a reference value, leaving a 10% space margin.

For internally laid cables, oil pipes, water pipes, or gas pipes, reserve 15% of the space as a margin to allow for free movement without stressing the drag chains. Ensure cables of different diameters are laid separately and balanced evenly. Use spacers if necessary.

When operating at high speed or frequency, horizontally laid cables should not overlap. If many cables, gas pipes, and oil pipes are laid together, use spacers for separation.

The cable chain construction resembles a tank crawler with freely turning joints. Each unit chain joint consists of left-right chain plates and up-down covers, allowing easy assembly and disassembly without threading. Cables, oil pipes, and gas pipes can be placed inside the drag chain after opening the cover plate. Spacers are available to divide the space inside the chain as needed.
