Reserve 15% of the space as a margin to allow internally laid cables and oil pipes to move freely, preventing any stress on the drag chains in the direction of the radius.
Cables with significantly different diameters should be laid separately, ensuring the weight is evenly balanced. If necessary, use spacers to separate them from each other.
For high-speed or high-frequency operations, horizontally laid cables should not overlap. If there are many cables, gas pipes, and oil pipes laid together, it is recommended to use spacers for organization.
Construction of the Cable Chain
The chain's appearance resembles the crawler of a tank, consisting of numerous joints. These joints allow the crawler to turn freely.
Chains of the same series share the same inner height, outer height, and pitch, but the inner width and bend radius (R) can be customized according to specifications.
A unit chain joint consists of a left-right chain plate and an up-down cover. Each joint can be opened for easy assembly and dismantling without threading. Cables, oil pipes, and gas pipes can be inserted into the drag chain once the cover plate is opened.
Spacers are available to divide the space inside the chain into different sections as per requirements, enhancing organization and functionality.
