Guidelines for Internally Laid Cables, Oil Pipes, Water Pipes, or Gas Pipes
Ensure that 15% of the space is reserved as a margin to allow cables and oil pipes to move freely without exerting stress on the drag chains in the direction of the radius.
Cables with significant diameter differences should be laid separately, ensuring balanced weight distribution. Spacers may be used if necessary to separate them.
For high-speed or high-frequency operations, horizontally laid cables should be partitioned and not overlapped. If multiple cables, gas pipes, and oil pipes are laid together, it is recommended to use spacers for separation.
Construction of the Cable Chain
The chain's appearance resembles a tank's crawler, consisting of a series of joints. Each joint can freely rotate.
Chains of the same series share identical inner and outer heights and pitches, but the inner width and bend radius (R) can be customized according to different specifications.
Each unit chain joint comprises a left-right chain plate and an up-down cover. The joints can be easily opened for assembly and dismantling without threading. Cables, oil pipes, and gas pipes can be inserted once the cover plate is opened.
Spacers are available to divide the interior of the chain into separate compartments as required.
